Grist is a name for something which through intentional effort has been taken from a raw state to something useful to self and the world.
Wise refers specifically to ‘practical wisdom’ which is an ancient practice that can be dated back over 2400 years to Aristotle as ‘phronesis’. This practical wisdom is the intention to do the right things, for good reasons, in the best ways.
